 Mission Statement

Elite Bright Future Tutoring Services maintains a learning environment where every student is valued, challenged, and encouraged. Our primary mission is to empower students to gain the necessary confidence and skills to become independent learners.

Goal

Our Goal is to offer best practice tutoring services to support students in understanding course concepts and developing the skills needed to become independent, life-long learners.  

Students Can Expect Tutors To:

• Be respectful, on-time, and patient
• Be good listeners
• Use questions and examples to aid learning 
• Help students utilize classroom, campus, and online resources
• Offer encouragement 
• Refer students to the instructor and/or additional resources when appropriate

Tutors Can Expect Students To:

• Be respectful
• Be motivated to learn
• Be prepared with questions and concerns
• Bring all materials—books, syllabus, assignments, notes, etc. 
• Attend class regularly and communicate with instructor
• Know graded assignments must be their own work

OBJECTIVES

OBJ. 1: To assist students in understanding and learning subject material from the course. 
OBJ. 2: To help students achieve their personal academic goals by preparing them for upcoming class material. 
OBJ. 3: To help students become independent learners.

Our Vision for Students that are Seeking an Elite Bright Future

1. Review topics: Tutors review classroom topics and assignments. 
2. Assist with tasks: Tutors help with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, and research. 
3. Help with concepts: Tutors help students understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom. 
4. Encourage mastery: Tutors encourage students to master the subject, so they feel competent in their understanding. 
5. Provide guided practice: Tutors provide guided practice in math skills. 
6. Build confidence: Tutors help students build self-confidence in math knowledge and skills. 
7. Ensure progress: Tutors ensure that students are making progress.
